This self-assessment program consists of 3 modules engaging
the reader to increase awareness of the role of macrophages in
cardiovascular inflammation and atherothrombotic factors, to
describe IL-6, CRP, and LDL-C as biomarkers of residual risk in
contemporary practice, to increase awareness of the
relationship between lipoproteins, thrombosis, and atrial
fibrillation, as well as to analyze the combination of ezetimibe
and moderate-intensity statin for patients with atherosclerotic
cardiovascular disease and to describe the use of PCSK9,
including inclisiran, to tackle cardiovascular risk.
